Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Delaware, OH. The PT will work 40 hours per week with 10-hour days, evaluating and managing a plan of care for patients in the acute care setting.

Experience of 1 year is preferred, though 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates; BLS and state licensure are required to begin the assignment. The role includes supervising PTAs and collaborating with medical center staff.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS certification.
• State-specific licensure required to practice Physical Therapy in Ohio/Ohio Board specs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care.
• Oversee PTAs and support staff; ensure proper documentation and billing.
• Interface with physicians and Medical Center staff to coordinate a team-based plan of care.
• Utilize adaptive equipment and clinical tools; adjust plan of care as patient condition changes.
