Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 27-week assignment in Mayfield, Kentucky. This travel role offers 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift, and the chance to impact patients across hospital and rehab settings.

The position requires KY license, BLS, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; new grads welcome. Travel-friendly benefits and dedicated clinical support accompany competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain PT equipment safely and effectively.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain safe treatment environment following infection control and safety guidelines.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development.
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth transitions to home or community settings.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
