Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Norfolk, VA. The role involves evaluating patients, designing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve functional recovery.

Applicants must hold a valid PT license and BLS certification. New grads are welcome; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. Travel pay and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred but new grads may apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and mechanics to promote recovery.
