Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Norfolk, VA. You will evaluate, treat, and educate patients across hospital and clinic settings, delivering evidence-based care to improve mobility and reduce pain.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control and safety guidelines.
