Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Cumming, GA. The role offers 40 hours per week, dayshift, and travel clinical support.

The successful candidate will evaluate patients, design and implement personalized rehabilitation plans, and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care. Strong communication and clinical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy.
• Physical Therapy experience, but New Grads are welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate specialized PT equipment safely and maintain devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to optimize care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management strategies.
• Maintain infection control, safety standards, and a safe treatment environment.
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth transitions to home/community settings.
