Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Thomasville, GA. You will evaluate patients, create personalized rehabilitation plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy to improve mobility and reduce pain in hospital or clinic settings.

The role requires a GA PT license and BLS, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred. New grads are welcome, and strong teamwork with clinicians is essential for quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in GA
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy
• PT experience preferred; new grads welcome
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine functional limitations and treatment needs
• Develop personalized rehabilitation plans to meet patient goals
• Administer PT interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate and maintain PT equipment and ensure safety
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy sessions
• Participate in quality assurance and ongoing professional development
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth transitions to home or community care
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
