Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Savoy, IL. The 13-week contract offers 40 hours per week, with dayshift hours and ASAP start.

Travel PTs join a supportive clinical team delivering evidence-based care in hospital and rehab settings. The role emphasizes evaluation, treatment planning, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and nurses to ensure optimal outcomes for patients across diverse settings.

Formación

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Eligibility to practice physical therapy in Illinois.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on findings and goals.
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and calibrate devices as needed.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in the treatment area.
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
• Assist discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community care.
