Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Alliance, Nebraska seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment. The PT will evaluate and treat patients in the acute care setting, overseeing PTA staff and collaborating with physicians to develop a plan of care.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of travel PT experience (6 months accepted for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state licensure. The role offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and a tax-free stipend where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of travel PT experience; 1 year preferred.
• BLS certification and state licensure required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform examination and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Evaluate patients and develop plans of care for acute care.
• Bill within the setting and follow facility guidelines.
• Interface with physicians and center staff to coordinate care.
• Use center computer systems and document per guidelines.
• Modify plans of care as patient conditions change.
