The position entails travel across Vermont to deliver care, round on facilities, and collaborate with care teams. Compensation is competitive with annual salary of $150,000–$200,000 and 1099 contract structure.

Qualifications

• MSN required and active Psychiatric NP license.
• ANCC board certification required.
• Willingness to travel across Minnesota for in-person visits and telehealth.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to provide care via in-person and telehealth modalities.
• Patient-centric, proactive, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Travel to nursing homes throughout Vermont for in-person psychiatric consultations.
• Conduct psychiatric consultations and follow-ups via in-person and telehealth.
• Collaborate with nursing home staff, residents, families, and care team.
• Follow up with patients to assess intervention efficacy.
• Educate patients, families, and facility staff on psychiatric best practices.
• Round at nursing homes and provide medication/treatment recommendations.
• Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions; emphasize non-pharmacological approaches.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation.
