Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, is seeking a Psychiatric/ Mental Health LPN to provide nursing care in psychiatric units and community settings as needed. The LPN will apply the nursing process under RN supervision and collaborate with the care team to make clinical judgments.

Position requires current LPN licensure in the assignment state, and compliance with professional standards. Travel to various healthcare facilities in North Carolina may be required.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in state of assignment
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health care setting preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
