Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Psychiatric LPN to deliver nursing care in a psychiatric unit, hospital, or behavioral health setting. The role ensures adherence to the nursing process and collaborates with the care team to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should hold a current LPN license and may have 1 year of psychiatric or behavioral health experience. We offer competitive weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package to eligible staff.

Qualifications

Current LPN license in state of assignment.
1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health care setting preferred.
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
Current CPR if applicable.
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the application of the nursing process and delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mental health/behavioral health facility, or community settings.
Demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision of a registered nurse and care team collaboration.
