Job summary

Junxion Med Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN PCU for a Des Moines, Iowa assignment. The PCU/Stepdown RN will manage telemetry and cardiac patients on a 12-hour day shift, 36 total hours per week, for 13 weeks.

Job Details:

Facility Specific Job Notes:

• Required Experience and Qualifications: Minimum of 24 months of experience in Telemetry/Cardiac, Stepdown, or Progressive Care.
• Experience with ICD (implantable cardioverter-defibrillator) pacemaker patients.
• Experience caring for CABG (coronary arterial bypass grafting) and vascular surgical patients.
• Cardiac Rhythm experience.
• Experience with EPIC EMR.
• Alaris IV pump and wound vac equipment experience.
• Cardiac Drip/titration experience.
• Level II trauma experience.
• Must have completed at least one travel contract within the previous 18 months.
• Preferred Experience: Level I Trauma experience.
• Required Certifications and Licenses: Active Iowa license or multistate license (must be active at the time of submission).
• AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross BLS certification.
• AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross ACLS certification.
• Submission Requirements: Work history/resume/employment history showcasing 24 months of relevant experience.
• Skills Checklist specific to Telemetry/Cardiac, Stepdown, or Progressive Care.
• Professional Reference/Reference Check from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within the last 24 months [preferred].
• Valid Driver's License.
• Other Requirements: No first-time travelers accepted.
