• Facility Specific Job Notes:

**Experience and Skills:**- 24 months of current operating room experience [required], with hospital/medical center experience prioritized.- Circulating/operating room experience [required].- Scrub experience [highly preferred].- Required experience in General, DaVinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma cases.- Highly preferred additional experience in Neurology, Orthopedics (primarily trauma), Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, Ear, Nose, Throat, and Vascular cases.- EPIC electronic medical systems experience within the previous 3 years [required].- Trauma Level I experience [highly preferred].- Trauma Level II experience [required].- No first-time travelers; must have completed a travel assignment within the previous 15 months [required].**Licensure and Certifications:**- Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate license at the time of submission [required].- AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross BLS certification [required].**Preferred Qualifications:**- Professional reference/reference check from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date.**Documentation Requirements:**- Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current operating room experience [required].- Skills Checklist specific to the Operating Room Nurse discipline [required].- Driver's License [document required].**Leadership and Clinical Skills:**- The traveler will be required to float across all campuses: Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran Iowa Methodist.- Ability to scrub or circulate is preferred.
