Responsibilities

• Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
• Assignment length ranges from 14 to 26 weeks, with 26 weeks available upon request
• Schedule consists of three 12-hour day shifts per week, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Patient ratios are typically 1:5 with a goal of reaching 1:4
• Floating to similar acuity units may be required based on facility needs
• Unit assignment will be determined after clinical evaluation
• Uses the Epic EMR system, and prior Epic experience is required
• Daily responsibilities include providing care to progressive care level patients
• Clinical evaluation will determine final unit placement
• Must be comfortable floating to other units with similar patient acuity as needed
