Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU position with night shifts and EPIC charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Patient ratio currently 1:5, with the goal to achieve 1:4
• Patient assignments, including unit, will be determined based on facility need after clinical evaluation
• 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM; 4x12 hour schedules are available by request
• Assignment length options range from 13 to 26 weeks, with flexible start dates
• Floating to other comparable units is expected as needed
• Uses EPIC EMR system; prior experience is required
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a progressive care environment
• May work on various units within the hospital depending on clinical evaluation and facility needs
• All travelers should expect to float as needed based on unit acuity and coverage needs
• Assignment lengths are flexible to suit candidate preference
