Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Pre-Op RN for a Level II Trauma Center. Must hold an active FL or compact RN license and have at least 1 year of Pre-Op nursing experience. 13-week assignment with a 5:00 AM–3:30 PM shift and a rotating call schedule.

Travelers reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; first-time travelers are welcome. Navy blue scrubs required. Benefits include housing allowance and travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (FL or Compact).
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted).
• Minimum 1 year of recent Pre-Op nursing experience.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration.
• Two professional references required for Florida-based positions.

Responsibilities

• Work in Pre-Admission/Post-Op/Interventional Recovery unit of a Level II Trauma Center.
• 13-week assignment with a 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM shift schedule.
• Variable call schedule required.
• Scheduled every other weekend and holidays in rotation with facility staff.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care within a Level II Trauma Center setting.
• Navy blue scrubs required for RN staff.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
