Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Postpartum RN for a 13-week assignment in Silvis, IL. The nurse will provide family-centered postpartum care to mothers and newborns, assess health, implement plans, and support breastfeeding with a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license and basic life support (BLS).
• Experience as a postpartum nurse is required.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Explain postpartum and newborn care to families to gain cooperation.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol.
• Assess health of mothers and newborns and document findings.
• Support breastfeeding and educate families on postpartum care.
