Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 12-week travel assignment in Urbana, IL. You will assess maternal and fetal health, administer treatments, and collaborate with obstetric teams to ensure high-quality care during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor, delivery, and examinations.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and stabilize mother and newborn.
• Educate patients on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and teams to deliver cohesive care.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols.
• Document patient care and assessments in the medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve outcomes.
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results.
• Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
