Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Polysomnographic Technologist with 2+ years of polysomnography experience and current RPSGT or BRPT certification for a 12-hour night shift assignment in Georgia.

The role includes travel with housing allowance, competitive benefits, and 36 hours per week. Applicants must hold a current BLS certification and sleep disorders expertise, and be able to work 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with required holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of polysomnography experience
• 1 year of sleep study activity
• Current BLS certification
• Current and unrestricted RPSGT/BRPT certification
• License if applicable
• Strong written and oral communication
• Knowledge of sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respirations

Responsibilities

• Sleep Disorder Lab setting within a hospital-based sleep disorders center
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Prepare patients and equipment for sleep testing and monitor polysomnograms per facility policy
• Work 2 of 3 major holidays and 1 minor holiday
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before traveling
