American Traveler is hiring a Polysomnographic Technologist with 2+ years of polysomnography experience and current RPSGT or BRPT certification for a 12-hour night shift assignment in Georgia.

Qualifications

• License if applicable
• Strong written and oral communication
• Knowledge of sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respirations

Responsibilities

• Sleep Disorder Lab setting within a hospital-based sleep disorders center
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Prepare patients and equipment for sleep testing and monitor polysomnograms per facility policy
• Work 2 of 3 major holidays and 1 minor holiday
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before traveling

• Current BLS certification required
• Current and unrestricted certification or registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through BRPT required
• License required if applicable
• Strong written and oral communication skills required
• Demonstrated expertise in sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respirations

Responsibilities

• Sleep Disorder Lab setting within a hospital-based sleep disorders center
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients undergoing sleep disorder testing
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, varying between 7:00 PM and 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Prepares patients and equipment for sleep disorder testing and monitors polysomnograms, documenting per facility policy
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
