American Traveler is seeking a Sleep Medicine Technologist for a 13-week night shift travel assignment in Missouri. • Perform polysomnographic studies independently in an acute care hospital setting.
• Night shift on a 13-week travel assignment from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Hook up patients, monitor recordings, score data, and perform CPAP/BiPAP titrations.
• Operate within facility mission, values and service standards; use EPIC EMR.
• Local candidates within 50 miles considered with contract limitations.

• RPSGT certification and/or Respiratory Care Practitioner license issued by the state of Missouri required (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Sleep Medicine

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting
• 13-week assignment on night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Responsible for performing polysomnographic technology services independently without supervision
• Duties include patient hook-up and instruction, monitoring polysomnographic and audiovisual recordings, scoring records, and performing CPAP/BiPAP titrations
• Performs duties consistent with facility mission, values, and service standards
• Black scrub color required
• Up to 5 days of RTO allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• Local candidates accepted within 50 miles at a reduced bill rate, with restrictions limiting local candidates to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer outside the radius
