Job summary

Applegreen in Ohio is seeking a Team Member to deliver exceptional customer service, keep dining and retail areas clean and stocked, and process accurate payments in a fast-paced travel plaza environment.

You’ll assist in preparing and serving food, follow brand standards and safety procedures, and support teammates to ensure a welcoming experience for travelers, including flexible scheduling across days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers (travelers).
• Operate POS systems, accurately process and receive payment from customers, and follow all customer service and cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperature of products.
• Complete with a variety of kitchen-related tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
• Follow required brand standards, food safety requirements, and all company policies and procedures.
• Execute a variety of other tasks as assigned.
