Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Custodian to perform cleaning duties across our plaza, ensuring a clean, hygienic environment for travelers. The role requires ability to stand, walk, and handle routine cleaning tasks with appropriate safety procedures.

You will use cleaning chemicals and equipment, manage waste, and maintain a tidy lobby and dining area, with opportunities to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. EOE.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completing a variety of cleaning duties throughout the plaza to ensure a pleasant, hygienic experience for travelers.
• Use cleaning chemicals, tools and equipment appropriately.
• Clean toilets, walls, windows, worktables, refrigerators, and other equipment as needed.
• Remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub and buff floors.
• Maintain a clean and organized lobby and dining area.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Load and unload supply trucks.
• Follow all security, sanitation, and safety procedures.
