Job summary

Miller Pipeline is seeking traveling laborers to support auger boring, repair, and distribution projects across our operating states. Local candidates will haul equipment, assist with demolition and reconditioning of old pipe, and contribute to safe, efficient field operations.

Local Evansville/ Terre Haute residents with a high school diploma, valid license, and ability to travel will find growth, training and competitive wages as part of a team built on safety, quality and commitment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Card, or the ability to obtain one.
• Must pass computer-based testing, specific to the local customer’s operator qualifications.
• High level of personal integrity and accountability.
• Interact effectively and professionally with the public, customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Class A CDL preferred or ability to attain within 90 days.
• Ability frequently to travel out of state
• Local to Evansville, IN or Terre Haute, IN

Responsibilities

• Properly lift tools, objects and equipment of varying weight.
• Compress soil and asphalt.
• Shovel material, soil and cold patch asphalt mix.
• Operate vehicles used for hauling.
• Assist in the demolition, take-up and reconditioning of old pipe.
• Score and break asphalt or concrete with a jackhammer.
• Repair backfilled trench areas with grass seed or asphalt.
• Travel throughout our operating states
