Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric ICU RN for a days shift assignment in Missouri. Requires 2 years PICU experience, vent competency, and NP/BO? license eligibility or active Missouri license. BLS, PALS (AHA), and TNCC are mandatory. Accommodation includes housing and travel reimbursements.

The role involves a 12-bed PICU with trauma, burn, neurosurgery, and chronic pediatric cases. Day shifts run 6:30am–7:00pm, with weekend hours as required and no mandatory call.

Qualifications

• Active RN license eligible for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri, or compact license.
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS (AHA only), and TNCC.
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience.
• Vent competency required.
• Post-orientation experience of at least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Care for pediatric ICU patients in a 12-bed unit with diverse conditions.
• Provide direct patient care: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate with ancillary departments and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Operate in a Level 1 Trauma & Burn Center and Level 2 Stroke Center environment.
• Adhere to EPIC EMR workflow and on-shift responsibilities.
