Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a PICU travel nurse RN for a 24-week assignment in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on advanced pediatric critical care for infants, children, and adolescents in high-acuity settings, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement complex care plans, monitor patients, and educate families while enjoying comprehensive benefits and supportive clinical resources.

Qualifications

• One year of PICU RN experience.
• Current RN license per state regulations.
• BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification preferred.
• CCRN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to pediatric patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Prepare and operate advanced medical equipment.
• Continuously observe and evaluate patient conditions.
• Monitor vital signs and intervene as needed.
• Respond to life-saving situations in pediatric ICUs.
• Educate patients and families.
• Document assessments in medical records.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
