Job summary

Atlas MedStaff is seeking a registered nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Paramus, NJ, joining a dedicated PICU team with night shifts.

The role requires float to NICU, L&D and postpartum, 1:2 PICU, 1:3-4 pediatrics, and 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 with every third weekend. NJ/Compact RN license, 2+ years PICU, BLS and PALS, and basic arrhythmia exam are required.

Self-scheduling with manager approval and no PCAs on the unit apply; weekly gross pay is $2,436.27.

Qualifications

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years PICU experience.
• BLS and PALS certifications must be current.
• Basic arrhythmia exam pass required.

Responsibilities

• Provide total patient care with no PCAs on unit.
• Float to NICU, L&D and postpartum as needed.
• Manage a mix of monitored and pediatric patients, including COVID cases.
• Adhere to nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:2 in PICU and 1:3-4 in pediatrics.
