Job summary

Atlas MedStaff is seeking a registered nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Paramus, NJ, joining a dedicated PICU team with night shifts.

The role requires float to NICU, L&D and postpartum, 1:2 PICU, 1:3-4 pediatrics, and 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 with every third weekend. NJ/Compact RN license, 2+ years PICU, BLS and PALS, and basic arrhythmia exam are required.

Self-scheduling with manager approval and no PCAs on the unit apply; weekly gross pay is $2,436.27.

Responsibilities

Join a dedicated Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team as a registered nurse on a 13-week travel contract. This role involves floating to the NICU, L&D, and postpartum units as a helpful hand, with training provided. You’re expected to manage a mix of monitored and pediatric patients, including COVID cases, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 in PICU and 1:3-4 in pediatrics. Shift hours are night 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every third weekend. Candidate must have a valid NJ or Compact license, at least 2 years of PICU experience, and current BLS and PALS certifications. Basic arrhythmia exam pass is required. This position offers self-scheduling with manager approval and the possibility of block scheduling. Total patient care responsibilities are expected, with no PCAs on the unit.
