Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ year of bedside experience with pediatric critical care patients.
• Experience with pediatric mechanical ventilation, HFNC, nasal CPAP, and managing tracheostomies.
• Experience with arterial and central lines and titrating vasoactive, paralytic, and sedative infusions, plus other critical care meds.
• Competency in weight-based pharmacology (Broset/PALS dosing) and age-specific assessments from neonates to adolescents.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Preferred: precepting novice/new graduate nurses.
