Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking a talented Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. This 40-hour/day (40hrs) daytime position covers a variety of towns starting in Fall River, with travel to Fairhaven, Dighton, Berkley and Taunton/Raynham areas.

You will work under the Clinical Manager and a Registered Physical Therapist to help patients prevent disability and restore motor function, while contributing to an inclusive, patient-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Two years of related experience required; home care experience preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the MA Board of Registration.
• CPR certification is required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or eligible for an exemption with a signed statement.

• Work with patients to prevent disability, relieve pain, develop, improve or restore motor function and maintain overall physical, emotional, social and mental performance within individuals' capabilities.
