Medical Talent is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Colonial Beach, Virginia. The travel role offers 40 hours per week, daytime shifts, and a chance to support patients under licensed PT supervision.

Qualified candidates will have PTA graduation, an active license (or ability to obtain), and the ability to follow PT plans while collaborating with an interprofessional team to restore mobility and function on assignment travels across the country.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.
• Active state PTA license or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions per PT plan of care
• Document patient progress and response to treatment
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status to supervising PT
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards
