Job summary

Assured Nursing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Colonial Beach, Virginia. You will provide PT services under supervision, helping patients restore mobility and function per the PT plan of care.

Responsibilities include delivering interventions, documenting progress, educating patients, and communicating with the supervising PT while adhering to safety and compliance standards. Travel rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions per PT plan of care
• Document patient progress and response to treatment
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status to supervising PT
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards
