Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Conroe, Texas. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and implement a care plan, and coordinate with the care team in an acute care setting.

The role requires 6 months of PT experience, BLS and state licensing, with potential for additional certifications. The position includes 40 hours weekly with dayshift scheduling.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience required; new grads encouraged to apply.
• BLS and state-specific licensing required.
• BLS, 1 year—additional certifications may be required before starting.
• PTs must stand/walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting per guidelines.
• Follow PT board rules and state regulations.
• Collaborate with Medical Center staff and physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely documentation per state/insurance guidelines.
