Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Conroe, TX. The PT will work 40 hours per week for 13 weeks, with dayshift hours. Must have 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates) and appropriate BLS and state licensing.

The role involves supervising PTAs, coordinating care teams, and ensuring compliant documentation and billing. Travel healthcare staffing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; 1 year preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• State-specific physical therapy license required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform demanding movements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Coordinate with Medical Center personnel and physicians on care plans.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate patients.
• Create and modify plans of care as needed.
• Use hospital computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines.
