Develops personalized rehabilitation plans, implements therapy techniques, operates specialized equipment, assesses patient progress, and adjusts treatments accordingly. Collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care, educates patients and caregivers on home exercises and injury prevention, maintains a safe environment, documents evaluations and outcomes, and participates in professional development and discharge planning.
Valid state licensure and BLS certification required. Preferred qualifications include a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and relevant experience, though new graduates are welcome. Essential skills include critical thinking, communication, technical motor skills, physical stamina, interpersonal effectiveness, and the ability to work under pressure. Must possess visual acuity and sensory communication skills.
