Job description

Role: Travel Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing plans of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.

• Key Duties: Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff, bill within facility guidelines, ensure compliance with state PT regulations, collaborate with medical personnel, evaluate and modify care plans, understand adaptive equipment, and utilize medical systems for documentation.
• Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months experience (1 year preferred), BLS certification, state-specific license, and ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean comfortably. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology required. New grads encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Strong communication with healthcare teams, ability to adapt plans of care, proficiency with documentation, and understanding of therapy equipment and regulations.
