Job summary

Black Women\'s Mental Health Institute is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate, develop, and implement patient care plans in an acute care setting, collaborating with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Bill within facility guidelines and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Document patient care using facility systems.

Job description

Job Role: Travel Physical Therapist (PT) responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing patient care plans in an acute care setting.

• Key Duties: Oversee PTAs and support staff, bill within facility guidelines, ensure compliance with state PT regulations, collaborate with healthcare team, evaluate and modify care plans, understand adaptive equipment, and utilize medical documentation systems.
• Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 6 months experience (new grads encouraged), valid state license, BLS certification, ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
