Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Wallingford, CT. You will evaluate and treat patients to improve mobility and reduce pain in hospital, clinic, or rehab settings. Start ASAP, 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, travel-friendly environment with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Required licenses include a valid PT license in CT and current BLS; Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. New grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Document evaluations and interventions in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management techniques
