Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in San Ramon, CA. The role offers 36 hours per week, day shifts, and a supportive clinical team to promote high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment need.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain using various techniques.
• Operate PT equipment safely and maintain devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development to stay current with best practices.
• Assist with discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and continued progress.
• Perform other duties within the scope of practice.
