Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Pinehurst, NC. The role offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and an ASAP start, with comprehensive benefits and a supportive clinical team.

As a member of our travel program, you will evaluate and treat patients across hospitals and clinics, documenting progress and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).
• Clinical PT experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients using PT examination and history to guide care.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs to meet patient goals.
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists to optimize care.
• Educate patients on home exercises and safety at home.
• Maintain safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control.
• Participate in discharge planning and community/home-based transitions.
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
