American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week day-shift assignment in Michigan. Active PT license required; Michigan license if applicable; outpatient experience mandatory.

The position involves direct patient care in an outpatient clinic with coordination with physicians, and no weekend shifts. Candidates must have current BLS (AHA), a valid skills checklist, and two supervisory references within the last two years.

Qualifications

• Active PT license required (Michigan license required if applicable).
• Compact license not accepted.
• Prior PT experience in outpatient setting required.
• Outpatient experience highly preferred (acute care experience nice to have).
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Skills checklist current within 1 year, relevant to PT specialty, required.
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic setting offering comprehensive family health care services.
• Days shift, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts (8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm).
• No weekend shifts and no on-call requirements.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Delegates responsibilities to PTAs and Aides.
• Evaluates patient function and develops goal-specific treatment plans.
• Submits treatment plans coordinated with physician orders and co-signs orders as needed.
• Coordinates treatment schedules with patients, families, and staff.
• Educates patients and families on condition, treatment rationale, and care alternatives.
• Dress code: khaki pants and navy blue logo wear.
• Maximum of 5 days of requested RTO during the assignment.
• Does not consider local candidates due to radius restriction.
