Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Newcastle, ME. The role offers 40 hours per week with day shifts and a start date of 12/13/2026, providing an opportunity to impact patient mobility and quality of life while working within a supportive clinical team.

The position requires licensure, BLS, and a Doctorate in physical therapy (preferred). New grads are welcome to apply and travel benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy is preferred.
• New grads are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
