Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Belfast, Maine. The role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and travel compensation with comprehensive benefits. You will evaluate patients, design rehab plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to improve mobility and reduce pain.

Candidates must hold a Physical Therapy license and BLS certification. Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth and travel

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Candidates with Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using tests and history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and ensure maintenance.
• Document evaluations, interventions and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise and injury prevention.
• Maintain safe treatment environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development.
