Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 26-week assignment in Alexandria, VA. You’ll evaluate and treat patients, develop individualized rehab plans, and collaborate with a healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Requirements include an active PT license and BLS; Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred. Travel-friendly benefits and support are provided to help you succeed on assignment.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Doctorate in physical therapy preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests, examinations and history
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Document evaluations, interventions and outcomes in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other therapists for coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and body mechanics
