Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Fairfax, VA. The role offers 40 hours per week with a start date of 10/05/2026 and a benefit-rich package.

You will evaluate and treat patients in hospital, clinic, and rehab settings, delivering evidence-based care in a fast-paced travel environment. You must hold a valid physical therapy license for Virginia and current BLS certification; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests and history to identify needs
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate and maintain PT equipment safely and effectively
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to coordinate care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise and injury prevention
• Maintain safe treatment environment adhering to infection control protocols
