Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lexington, VA. The role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and a travel employment type.

Start date is 10/12/2026 with comprehensive benefits and a supportive clinical team. The successful candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients, develop evidence-based plans, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure safe, effective care across hospital, clinic, or rehab

Qualifications

• Required: Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Required: Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: Doctorate in physical therapy.
• Preferred: Physical Therapy experience; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and determine treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
