Job summary

CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized care plans for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.

You will oversee PTAs and staff, bill within facility guidelines, and ensure compliance with state PT regulations while collaborating with medical personnel to update care plans and evaluate progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of PT experience; new grads encouraged.
• Current BLS certification.
• State-specific Physical Therapist license.
• Proficiency in anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; perform physical tasks.
• Knowledge of billing, documentation accuracy, and regulatory standards.

Job description

Role: Travel Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized care plans for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.

Key Duties: Oversee PTAs and support staff, bill within facility guidelines, ensure compliance with state PT regulations, collaborate with medical personnel to formulate and modify care plans, evaluate patient progress, understand adaptive equipment, and utilize medical documentation systems.

Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged), current BLS certification, state-specific license, and proficiency in anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks is required.

Additional Requirements: Knowledge of billing, documentation accuracy, and adherence to regulatory standards.

This role offers a 13-week travel assignment, working 35 hours per week, with days shifts. Compensation includes weekly pay, guaranteed hours, benefits from day one, and opportunities for continuing education and professional development.
