You will oversee supervision of PTAs, ensure compliant documentation, collaborate with medical staff, and support patient progress using EMR systems. California licensure and BLS are required; new graduates encouraged.

Compensation includes 8-hour shifts, tax-free stipends, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Job description

Role Overview: We are seeking a travel Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized care plans for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.

• Key Responsibilities: Oversee supervision of PTAs and support staff, bill accurately within facility guidelines, ensure compliance with state PT regulations, collaborate with medical personnel to create and modify care plans, evaluate patient progress, understand adaptive equipment, and utilize electronic medical systems for documentation.
• Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months of experience (1 year preferred), valid state license, BLS certification, and ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Additional Requirements: Adherence to regulations, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ongoing certifications as needed.
