Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Hickory, NC. The role focuses on evaluating patients, developing rehab plans, and improving mobility across hospital, clinic and rehab settings.

Required licensure and BLS, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred. Travel benefits, 40-hour weeks, and comprehensive support are provided for this travel opportunity.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license required in NC
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred
• New grads welcome to apply; other certifications may be required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests, exams and history
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Document evaluations, interventions and outcomes in medical records
• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals for coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety
• Maintain infection control and safe treatment environment
