Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position in South Carolina, covering a four-county territory (Cherokee, Spartanburg, Union, and part of Greenville). The role is a Monday–Friday day shift with 8-hour days, no on-call, and mileage reimbursement for any required float.

At least 1 year of home health experience is required; 2 years preferred. BLS and PT/ PTA certifications are required; EPIC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of home health experience required; 2 years preferred.
• Home Health experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• PT state license required (if applicable).
• PTA certification required.
• Recent EPIC experience preferred but not required.
• Pending state license accepted, but must be obtained prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting covering a territory spanning four counties: Cherokee, Spartanburg, Union, and a small portion of Greenville.
• Day shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 5x8 hours, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
• No on-call requirements.
• Clinician may be required to float within scope to meet facility needs, with mileage reimbursed.
• Not open to block scheduling.
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront, as RTO requests made after submission will not be considered.
• Attendance policy: missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract may lead to cancellation.
• Former perm staff of this facility are not eligible to return as travelers.
• Open to first-time travelers.
• Does not accept local candidates; 75-mile radius rule applies.
